Is the sight stabilization keybind still able to lock targets with the new update? Ever since it came out when I press the Sight Stabilization key while hovering over a target it just disables it, even after resetting my controls and using the default keybind for it I'm just not able to get a lock.

I have been considering destroyers and frigates, fast and maneuverable, but big enough to not die too quickly. Moffet and Frank Knox look like good fits, but the soviet Project 56 vessels with 13cm twin mounts and RBU6000 rockets deserve honorable mention. Does a person have to upgrade to higher tiers or larger vessels when they reach that 4.7-5.0 plateau with those sorts of vessels?

4:31 war thunder is becoming too realistic

For some reason the 25-30mm american guns basicly do no damage, you'd need the 35mm of the Type 89 to deal any. APFSDS has lower mass with these calibers and is pretty much useless against tanks, whereas the new 9035K can go thru the gunmantlets of even T90Ms and disable their breech reliably, where 25-30mm Bushmasters just bounce off. 35mm APDS will also one-two shot T-80s in the side into the ammorack, its ridicilous how much more potent those 35mms are than 30mm. Its why i curse tank designers nowadays with their choice of weaponry, because of how badly they perform in Warthunder haha Would be nice to see more IFVs with a 35-40mm gun setup.

Does the CV9035DK look too tall to anyone else? In game it appears noticeably taller than the other CV90s when pulling up next to other vehicles in test drive or even when switching between them in the hangar. Specs for the vehicle online seem to indicate it should be the same.

I think with the T90 shot in the breach he seemed to turn just as you fired, not sure if that would of caused issues, I've had it happen on other tanks, on my side I hit the breach but on the hit indicator he had turned his turret at the moment I fired. But as a sound Dev myself there are numerous issues with the audio in the game, Engines being one of the most inconsistent issues.

What I don’t like about this premium is that its turret protection is far worse than what we have on the 2PL, I think I’ll probably wait for a discount for this one

As a new player who fell into the Tiger trap, I can share my honest advice to anyone who thinks of using this: DON'T. The Tiger H1 is objectively bad. "Ah here we go" I can here you say "Another noob who just can not play a Tiger correctly." And to that I say: Thank you for proving my point. Your survivability is horrendous, even when angeling your chasis, you allways have a weakspot from any angle. Yes, you are equally tanky as other tanks of that Tier if you angle your tank and keep the position of your ammo rack in mind, but here we allready arive at the crux of the issue: Playing a Tiger perfectly nets you way worse results, than playing a Centurion suboptimally, so why bother? If you need to put in 10 times the effort to make a tank playable: it is a shit tank. And don't even get me started on what happens if you get Up-Ranked. Ever tried to take out a Jumbo? A tank that can one-shot you from nearly any angle, but you have to specifically hit the center of the lower chasis, from the side or the MG port? Basically: it is a glass-canon of a "heavy tank". Don't use it as a brawler, use it as a worse tank-destroyer. My advice: Only research it to get to the next tier. If you REALLY have to try it: Only pack 20 Ammo in total, angle as much as you can and keep your distance. Survive until you get the half-descent Tiger 2. But do yourself a favour: Focus on the Panther.

5:15 Yeah i dont fucking understand the T-Series tanks one bit, things weakspots are more like RNG-Spots. LFP 100% Pen chance 25% 1sk Chance. Breech 25% Pen chance (prolly lower) 75% 1sk Chance. Honestly its getting to the point where I personally dont take K/Ds seriously of anyone that mains russia ground, shits getting ridiculous. Edit: Almost forgot but when you shoot a challenger2 over the TOP of the gun breech, usually a fucking crew knockout. Piss off Snail.

This update is a joke to be perfectly honest. The sound is ruined, damage models are shit and the game is super buggy. Russian tanks have gotten even more broken damage models that has armor that seems harder to pen and shells dont do shit for damage. As usual, russian ammo doesnt detonate when being shot, but its worse now too. Good job Gaijin.

I'm so sick of top tier premiums they are ruining the game. I'm waiting for a Swedish 11.3 to be added to ruin their win rates as well. Germany and Sweden used to rule, now there's an entire 10.0 Swedish lineup of premiums and Germany's top tier is gonna be ruined unless you have a 12.7 jet in your lineup. You'd think they would playtest their new audio but they apparently haven't. Audio is in such a bad place right now and they keep messing up their game. How long is it going to take to increase the ground BR cap a few brackets? It should be at 12.7 at the MINIMUM. Yes, I understand that this sounds like a rant from a bigoted meta-chaser. I am only this mad because I have put too many hours into the game to be complacent whilst Gayjin ruins it.

With its high res thermals and high power KE-W round, this $70 premium is probably the second best german MBT, after the Leopard 2A7V. Kinda sad it's behind a paywall Hope you enjoy the live com :)
